Should i start being and acting like an ignorant to enjoy life and be happy?

Everyone i know who's happy is ignorant, i used to see my Uni professors depressed, sad, worried, etc. In the otherside, i see friends of my going to party every weekend or most of the week, drinking, fucking, thinking about how to have a good iphone, a good body shape...

Is that the key to happiness? Being ignorant?

Sure, but then you wouldn't be living in accordance with the best and divine part of us. You wouldn't be a rational animal, you would be only the animal part, who only wants to fuck, eat and sleep.

Try it and see, I doubt you will genuinely be able to

I obviously can't now, i can't go to a party where a large amount of people just consumes lots of alcohols just because others do it, and no one questions it, most of that people act like animals, following cultural and hereditary acts

It’s too late for you. You can’t just pretend to be ignorant, it’s exhausting and people will more than likely pick up on that you’re faking it. I suppose you could bash your head in and become retarded for real though

1. Find what gives you pleasure/fulfillment/whatever else you need
2. Do that in your spare time

I tried it Junior year of high school.

Miserable. Just the constant overthinking of every single interaction. I ended up lashing out at the "friends" I made and they all left me.

It just doesn't work. Some people just aren't built to enjoy certain parts of life.

The trade off is power when one is ignorant.

No, quite the opposite. An ignorant man will always be a slave to something greater than him, and in that slavery he will not find bliss, but fear of what he does not understand.

>In the otherside, i see friends of my going to party every weekend or most of the week, drinking, fucking, thinking about how to have a good iphone, a good body shape...

They're not happy. If you think that they're happy, you've fallen for the same advertising scheme that they have. If they were happy, why are they constantly chasing after fleeting pleasures? The truly happy man would have peace with nothing.

Besides, you couldn't force ignorance on yourself, anyway.

You already sound pretty ignorant to me. So that must not be the key.

>> No.11087031

Honestly, it doesn't matter. All that matters are the events around you, and how your brain responds to that. Basically, if those people can be happy and ignorant, and their brains release more dopamine than your "enlightened" red pilled mind, then who wins in the end?

>>11085344
And are you the right one? Is over analyzing your meaningless existence going to get you to the end of the rainbow where you reach a moment of understanding that brings you bliss? Or is it just a merry go round of philosophical ego stroking that still makes you a depressed asshole?

You sound arrogant, spiteful and resentful of others, as if you insist in your views to being above others as a necessary assumption for you.

Why do you care?

Others can't have fun because you are depressed so they must be too stupid to be depressed?

Why concern yourself with such pedantic condescending views on others so much?

You are just rationalizing, twisting reality to fit your headcannon. You will grow out of this phase eventually.

When did i blame others for being ignorants? Of course everybody is ignorant in some way, i'm not against it, i'm against the conception that you can be happy without giving a fuck about anything.

if you think yourself elevated above others as if you’re a genius, you’ve already taken the wrong step towards happiness as well as becoming a genius, if the latter even is something you’d want to be, which i image you are because you already seem to consider yourself to be above others.
