Yeah, I had to read it for a college course and it was kind of stunning that people were sucking this book off and calling it "prophetic". It seems to be almost the exact opposite of where we are moving politically and socially. Unless you really think that things are going to go too far left and rubber band right back into the Conservative dystopia, then I just can't see how this is prophetic. Also, I get that the religious nuts were just using the birthing crisis as an excuse to overthrow the American government, but why would a birthing crisis lead to moving back to biblical era technology. You would think sex factories or something like that would come out of a birthing crisis.

This has no right to be on any recommendations chart and doesn't deserve any of the food ratings it got.
It's garbage that drags on way too long and vandalizes it's own characters at the end.
The first book I was so angry about I wrote 1 star reviews on every platform I could find.
