Could anybody compile a maths starter kit for me so I could self educate myself and maybe have a strong enough understanding how to continue my education by myself in the future.

Im done with high school yet don't remember anything I've learned maths wise since the 8th grade.

It’s been a while since I used it but their “World of Math” is actually fun and they pretty successfully gamified the experience. Did they get rid of it or something?

If only there was a science and math board.
if only it had a sticky full of information about what books to read for every level of study.

Although they will make fun of you for being a brainlet, so here I'll help you out

Read Isaac Asimov's "the realm of algebra" and maybe the one on numbers

Then Polya's "how to solve it"

Other than that get a "for dummies" type book--I recommend the Harper Collins college outline series book "college algebra"
