What are you reading right now, /lit/?

Pic related. This is my second read-through of the book- I take it to my College's dining hall at lunch and dinner and read while I eat. Feels good man.

Kind of dry, but Hirohito is turning out to be one huge pussy so far.

The Corrections.

It's slow going, since I've got a bunch of other reading to do for school at the moment. I'm loving it, though.

I choose to see it as a parody of sentimental novels.
I'm up to the part where he converts a whole prison-full of criminals to the one true church. (The parody reading isn't that much of a stretch.)

Going to start it tonight and finish it sometime this year.

I honestly haven't enjoyed it thus far.

I'm nearly finished and it's becoming more of a chore than anything to actually complete it. It'll be interesting to see how Pinkerton obtains revenge for Timothy's death, but other than that; I couldn't give a fuck.

well, if you've read it, you may know what I am talking about. a big part of one of the stories involves talking a lot about the nature of the 4th dimension, which is explained in theoretical math. I don't understand the finer points of it, and there must be a hundred pages devoted to discussing it. I like the science in it.

I've seen lots of people rave about it on /lit/, so I caved and bought it.

I'm pleasantly surprised, so far.

It may not be "high literature" but I'm currently reading Stephen Fry's - Making History and I must say I am thoroughly enjoying it.
