Is the Penguin abridged version sufficient or should you get the Princeton/Hong unabridged double edition? The abridgement loses around 1000 pages.

The Princeton double edition would also likely serve as better home defence weapons and enable dual wielding; not to detract from the Penguin edition as smacking someone about with its 640 pages would still deliver decent DPS, albeit not as much as raining down 728p right and 536p left combos.

Also raw math the abridged loses around 600 pages rather than 1000.
