I have a fictional short story I have to write by next Thursday and I am completely dry of ideas and don't know where to start.
Does anyone know a good website full of good writing prompts or tips they can share?

Just choose a genre, set a 2 min timer, and write down the first things that come into your mind.

Just watch a show/movie and listen for a character to say something real good as a quote and take that and start a story from it.

In college a couple years back I would sneak Dark Knight Rises Quotes into my stories to start them.
