Seriously, do they make this covers terrible on purpose? It has to be. There’s no way they never noticed how ugly and ridiculous their cover art is when compared to virtually all other publishers.

Such a colossal lack of taste is very hard to explain.

I have a few of their cheap philosophy paperbacks. All of them seem to feature classic paintings, which is a massive improvement compared to the atrocities above. I assume they wisened up at some point.
