Yes.

I found what he had to say about 'the system' creating a society that must conform to it quite relevant and clear sighted. But he has a severe bias against people who try to change culture and the way humans treat each other for the better, and sees them all as frauds. His ideas had tunnel vision and he fetishized radicalism and revolution. For the dumbed down version read something like The Unsettling of America by Wendell Berry. I can be all for anti-technology without wanting to kill people and blow up cities.
