I was thinking about getting my Mathematician friend Principia Mathematica by Bertrand Russell as he was getting into logical philosophy, Is this a good choice? I have heard this is his magnum opus. Also philosophy general.

Oh? Can you tell me why? While we are talking he seems mostly interested in the conceptual side of logic and philosophy so I am not too sure on giving him a textbook, I would rather something with at least some interesting prose.
