/lit/ is constantly whining about how it's impossible to get published and that the industry only publishes hacks, but no one seems to have suggested the obvious solution of creating a micropublisher. How come? I imagine all the required skills can be found here. Is this board really that devoid of artistic merit?

It would be nice if some rich /lit/fag came along and offered to publish a bunch of us but thats pretty unlikely. Maybe if we started a crowdfunded project and set deadlines for people to write something then people would get motivated and more serious about it.
