Most it is not good but that’s because for some reason the black critics and intellectuals feel that black writers have to all write about the same racial shit over and over in the same way.

Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man is one of the few great novels by a black man, and he had black literary critics saying “I don’t consider Ellison a black author, he didn’t write black literature.”
