I don't demean its importance but I wonder why this function is so under-appreciated in literature, You can find all sorts of vulgar books depicting fornication, urination, and even defecation thanks to GRRM, but I cannot recall any books of any importance that depict lactation aside from the grapes of wrath.

You can even find books promoting all kinds of degenerate sexual fetishisms like 50 shades of gray, but very few to none showing a woman and her man in a moment of sensual congress, her turgid, dripping nipples descending into the quivering lips of a hungry man, who becomes a boy once more in that moment. How unfortunate, I am not degenerate enough to have actually read the corpus of GRRM, I merely absorbed some of his content through /tv/ memes and what I was able to read of the first book. I find that any and all scenes depicting intercourse or bodily functions in his work derive directly from the author's own repulsive, vulgar and venal urges.

I can imagine him propping his massive gut up on the edge of his desk to free his tiny pecker, shrunken from years of obesity and a weak circulatory system when he is writing every sex scene. He types one handed, the other attempting to nurse his manhood back to life after a long hibernation. After some effort he succeeds in inspiring some sort of sensation from it, the quality of his writing begins to decline as the blood rushes out of his brain and into his groin, his typing hand goes cold as ice as it too is drained of blood to feed his perverse urges until finally he paints his underbelly with a pathetic little gout of sterile seed.

It's also clear when he writes feasting/eating scenes that he makes himself incredibly hungry while doing so, and likely takes snack breaks in the middle of writing them, there was always a point of minor disjoint in the two or three I have read. When I can penetrate an author's core so deeply having read so very little of his work I feel disgusted with them and can't continue reading.

I am certain that I am not alone in identifying this phenomenon of one handed sex fantasy writers. Frank Herbert was another fat old male fantasy author writing about his strange fantasies in his work, particularly in the last two books of Dune where the story boils down to much of the known galaxy being forced into both physical and sexual servitude by an army of BSDM succubi from unknown parts of space.
