I got published, finally
A short story, in the literary magazine of a small regional university.
It's not much but it's something.
Nobody can take this away from me whatever else happens.
Hopefully this is the start of a brilliant career

I found out last fall that I’m appearing in the literary journal at my university that is being released this spring. It’s the first thing I think I’ve ever submitted and I got accepted. I don’t think it’s much since it’s just my school but people did get rejected from it, so at least it’s a baby step.

If we can all just continue to improve bit by bit and write less shittily than we did yesterday or a week ago or a year ago, then maybe eventually we will write something truly beautiful.
