wow, a lot of these "i procrastinated all summer" threads have been springing up lately. are there that many high schoolers on /lit/?

question: what the fuck were you doing all summer that prevented you from reading one single novel?

This. Seriously, how hard is it to read a book over the summer?

OP, I doubt you could read it in a day. Have fun getting an F.

meh, tried reading it, couldn't get into it and forgot about it. i won't be getting any F's, it was just reccomended reading from my philosophy teacher to help with the topics next term. most of my class won't have read it.

i'll just read the sparknotes trololo.

Your teacher probably won't go deep into it or expect anything on the first day. You'll have several days to finish the book before they start assigning shit.

This thread is probably a troll, but this happened to my friend once. He took a class on Russian /lit/ and forgot to read Anna Karenina until the day before it was due. Dude managed to read the book in one 16-hour sitting, taking only smoke breaks. Then, the next day, he had to write a 12 page essay. He's lazy as fuck but somehow he managed to get that done.

I am sure it's possible to read it in a day.

However, considering the fact that you waited until the very end of summer vacation to tackle a small reading assignment, I seriously doubt you have the mental fortitude and discipline to digest the book in its entirety within one short day.

Just sayin'.

No.

They're from other boards, and come to /lit/ to ask about homework.

I bet that was an A paper for sure. All my best shit's been done on the day it's due.
