If the idea of reading about an effete scion of a moribund aristocracy who totally isolates himself interests you then yes. It's full of symbolism and descriptions of the interior of his house and it doesn't make for light or enjoyable reading. It was only thanks to supplemental texts that I was able to make reading it worthwhile.
