What do you think about starting a collective read of Don Quixote on April 23rd?

3-4 chapters per day

This, DQ is about 500 pages too long for what it is...

A Mason & Dixon reading group is starting on Wednesday.

Yes, as most people are anglos

I really think you guys ought to tackle something small. Dom Quixote is too huge and too much of an effort. People will get excited in the first week and then stop reading it. If you read some novellas or short stories it might work. Let's do a Borges reading group, we can decide to read two or three stories and discuss them.

A month or so ago, some nerds did try to make a Borges reading group. IIRC it fell apart in a week

>> No.10896210

Very few reading groups succeed on /lit/. You might as well just start a thread, you'll have more discussion that way.

>> No.10896257

How about a reading group for Silence by Shusaku Endo?

This. People often don't realise just how long Don Quixote is
