Not many books by Australian authors though. The last one I read was Lasseter's Last Ride, which was pretty interesting.

Kangaroos are so common in Australia that they're frequently culled. You probably won't see them in the middle of a major city but you will basically everywhere else. If you're super unlucky you'll see one go through your windshield.

You won't find them in the cities but they're pretty much everywhere. Once you get into the outer suburbs they start showing up. I live in a more regional area up coast from Perth and I see kangaroos pretty much every day, especially on the golf course. Emus are less common but they're in the area.

You can eat kangaroo too. They're pretty nice.

The antique store on Grote street, if you go right to the back they have quite a large selection of books (indeed im fairly sure they are the books taken by those strange old men who turn up to every booksale an 1 hour early to be in first).

As for prices with the discount think Oconnels but a bit cheaper. Not fantastic bargains like Oxfam or the libraries but cheaper than online.

you're a retard. there is no such thing as zero layers of pretence (nice american spelling by the way, FAKE aussie)... especially when typing on the internet. stop acting ""australian"" on 4chan. you make me embarrassed to even use the word mate or cunt on here, just like how r*ddit ruined the word epic.

Youre a clown, if you isolate the words you're talking about in this thread youll find the words mate, cunt, poof, and bogan. words that 95% use on a daily if not hourly basis. You look at your posts and youll find retard and cringe meanwhile you're self censoring to sound more american or euro and you bring up shit like russell coight without precedence just because your embarrassed of australia. its no wonder people are calling each other mate in an australian thread, theyre australian

thanks for the speech from the pulpit father mr prime minister sir. I don't self-censor to sound more american or euro, I just avoid using words that give off the connotation I might be a fucking retard like you. I see loads of clones like you ("4chan australians", as I've taken to calling them) posting those gay russell coight gifs. "embarrassed of Australia" is as dull and insecure an accusation as calling someone "un-Australian". I enjoy posting under the aussie flag, using australian spelling and linguistics as they flavour my language naturally. your brainlet breed has just subtracted a small part of that pleasure for me.

>poof hourly basis
what is this the 70s? are you getting bullied by boomers? you're more likely to be called a faggot or a "gay cunt". This is what happens when you spend your time watching EPIC australian ads and classic tv show clips to infuse yourself with some sort of national identity. Pathetic ressentiment clone...
