What books are so hedonistic that it delves into its ugliness? Story of the Eye comes to mind and I thought Child of God was sort of like that too.

Similar to Lil Pump's lyrics about "dick up in the throat" and "she gon swallow kids, that's a kids cuisine." I don't think many guys would object to a qt giving a blowjob but when it's phrased like that it sounds genuinely off-putting

William S Burroughs' whole bibliography. Literally any of his books.

Canterbury Tales, sort of. It's also immensely funny too but only if you think things like a man kissing a woman's hairy dirty asshole and mistaking it for a bearded man is funny.

isn't hedonism inherently ugly anyway hence it being hedonism

This. His books breathe the ennui of hedonism taken it to its furthest reaches without being boring themselves. He one upped Sade in that regard.

Hell never mind his books. His fucking biography is just as bad

La Bas by Huysman but on a much higher level of profane versus sacred than your petty examples of throat fucking.

I only really used the lyrics as an example because I was listening to that track at the time and it made me consider making this thread. I know it's not the most literary example out there, but I thought it helped articulate what I was looking for. Gonna check out La Bas now, thanks anon.

It's a novel that explores Gilles de Rais rapes and child murders in the context of Satanism, leading to the contemporary (1890s) practice of Satanism. The sexually profane is a central element of it, but the purpose of profane, that is sacrilege and the destruction of the sacred and good, is the higher focus. Profanity is detailed an erotic manic phenomenon of sacrilege against anything held sacred, cherished or beautiful.

120 Days of Sodom, though I suppose it is somewhat satirical

It's been a while since I've read it but I remember he rapes a dead woman and takes her body for whenever he feels the urge to fuck her and I think the guy got his rocks off killing people. I might be remembering it incorrectly in fairness

Hogg, Delany. Utter filth.
Marquis de Sade's longer works, like Juliette, Justine and 120 Days of Sodom (his shorter stuff shows more restraint and more erotic suggestion)
As another anon said, Huysmans. Au rebours is a perfect portrayal of decadence - beauty so rich, intoxicating and plentiful that it suffocates. Obviously, Dorian Gray as well.
Jean Genet.

Also Mann's Death in Venice is sort of about this. The lure of dangerous beauty, the line between the divine and the decadent. The decay of Apollonian asceticism and austerity into primal Dionysian indulgence.
