I’m terrible at finishing books due to my attention span and I’m trying to get into literature to fix that.

I’ve only read about 5 books start to finish.

I’ve been writing short (100 pages or less) books for about 5 years.

My style has always been the same, dystopian societies with strong political undertones parallel (if slightly exaggerated) to american capitalism.

I’m very comfortable in this style of writing because of my personal political views and my love for dystopian films.

I’m young (22) and want to write an entire book that I can be proud of.

Do any of you have any recommendations for books that are similar to my style of writing?

I’d also love to hear some recommendations for books that might inspire me to write outside of my comfort zone.

If not, you can use this thread as a writing inspo general so that others can recommend books to read based on their individual writing style.

Just read more until your attention span improves. Try reading some novellas instead of novels maybe. Or if you can't even manage that just try reading some short story collections.
