You have to read Blade: it's James Bond meets Tarzan/Conan/John Carter. This alpha male spy gets transported naked into random dimensions in each book, and kills and fucks everything until he gets zapped back. The complete Richard Blade series (1969-84). Adult violent/sexy fantasy junk extraordinaire! Completely shameless manly pulp on every level, like most of the series characters created to get young men to buy fiction: John Carter, Conan, Tarzan, Ka-Zar, The Shadow, Doc Savage, Mike Shayne, Shell Scott, Travis McGee, Remo Williams (The Destroyer), Mack Bolan (The Executioner, and its spin-off series, Phoenix Force), Richard Camelion (The Death Merchant), and Nick Carter (from Master Detective to Killmaster), etc.

Firstly, there is discussion in this thread. I had never heard of the Blade books, now >>10818167 I have. Here are some opinions on Dumas >>10817882 >>10817881 and in general there are anons >>10818196
>>10818472 saying in a humorous way what books they favour.

But more importantly you may have noticed that 4chan is an imageboard i.e. a forum geared towards the posting of images to compliment and drive discussion. To deride the posting of images of physical literature on the literature board effectively strips the mask of your pretension to reveal what lies beneath: the most base and lowly character to disfigure the pure nature of our beloved internet community since Tao Lin last went to sleep.

I read it twice on account of this - with a spread of a couple of years. The text was littered with examples and I only retain a few of them in memory along with the general gist. Here is a disorganized stew of a few: He makes a big talk about the axe head and how it should be shared with no analysis of production of the axe head by specialists. Again, a big talk about the virtue of vegetarianism without consideration of the differences of a lifelong vegetarian diet versus an adult transitioning to a vegetarian diet. (He does mitigate this with an acknowledgement that everyone has the need to kill something significant during their lifetime.) He makes a mockery of physiology comparing oxen to humans. He made no accommodation for getting laid and the whole thing looked like what it was - a temporary experiment from which he would walk away. These are what I remember but there were dozens of observations that I made at the time. I do not entirely disagree with >>10818451. Some of his value is found in him being an average fuck with related foibles and ignorance.

If this is just an image board and there's nothing wrong with posting of books then why are you trying so hard to convince me that there's meaningful discussion taking place? The truth is I don't care if any discussion takes place. It doesn't matter to me and it doesn't answer my original question of why you take the time to carefully orchestrate a stack of books and take pictures of them to post on the internet. I've postulated that you're just a consumerist attention whore and you haven't even tried to deny it. All you've done is pretend there was something more to it.
