I just finished Crime and Punishment and have been inspired to try and reboot my Catholic faith. While I am doubtful this will work, since Nietzsche BTFO'd Christianity, I feel compelled to give it the best try I can. I've read Fear and Trembling and wasn't impressed, but I've seen some Kierkegaard excerpts on here that look interesting: Which work(s) by Kierkegaard explain his reasoning for his belief in Christianity?
Any other book recommendations that make a compelling case for Christianity are welcome too. TBK will be next read btw, so skip that rec

I don't believe, but it convinced me to try again as explicitly stated in the op. Fucking pewdiepie posters

Why did Crime and Punishment convince you to be a theist? Just the overall sense that humans have an inherent sense of morality that defies logic? I don't really see how that would convince anyone that God exists, especially if they're skeptical to begin with.

I don't think you really understand Nietzsche

The consequences of immorality and Nietzsche are so poignant, that I need to be as sure as I can that Christianity is truly BTFO

I read some of Purity of heart is to will one thing by Kierkegaard and that felt like the most acidic catholic thing I've ever read (didn't finish it). I'm Catholic in a detached sense which I feel guilty about because I feel spiritualness in my life if that makes any sense. Books on Spirituality have inspired me. Like Interior Castle or Faustina Kowalska's diary. I think they're good to read whatever the effect on you is.
