I mean, is this even a contest?

In case anyone asks, I read it because I had heard on NPR it was being banned from libraries and I'm in the actual BDSM scene so I thought I'd enjoy it. I didn't. Now I read and watch the movies out of spite and to force myself to write my own novels. (Never paid for any, don't worry.)

When I got my copy from the library it already had some sort of stain on the pages.

Well for one, because I enjoy hating things.
I did workout sessions for months while watching all of the Twilight films.
For two, because every time I read those books I get really angry and end up being inspired to write my own books. My first novel is actually almost done.

Also if that guy is around who outed me as /fitlit/ hit me up.

I finished reading this a few weeks ago. Literally the most I have ever struggled with a book.
It's disjointed, sexist, Islamophobic and all for no reason because it was written by a guy so close to death.
I can read Islamophobic whatever if there's a point to it but he just made throw-away comments most of the time with no real context. It was sexist because he didn't seem to understand women at all and just made them equal to men in an attempt to be feminist but it fell really flat because he didn't give any woman a single character.

I got all the way through it because I'm against dropping a book on purpose and it was only 200 pages but halfway through I seriously considered dropping it. Has anyone else read it? Can anyone back up my opinions and lay on more layers?

Anthem was garbage, I think I repressed the memory of reading that. Of course the teacher who loved it and assigned it was a narcissist with framed photos of only herself at various ages in the classroom. I could almost smell the pussy splooge from Rand stroking herself writing it.

I've seen this multiple times and I still don't really understand what he's trying to say
Is he just saying that he wants to see uglier women with glasses on? How would you convey intelligence in a porno, would you make her solve a differential equation before she gets railed by some 6'5 bald guy with tattoos? Why would you want intelligent women to debase themselves by getting fucked on camera?

I love how people now write books of time periods where slaves were owned but then make some of the characters basically a bunch of modern day SJW's and others are raging racists who do nothing but say nigger and beat the slaves every two seconds for anything..
