MARRY YOUNG.

>On 7 January 2015, the date of the Charlie Hebdo shooting, the novel Submission was published. The book describes a future situation in France (2022) when a Muslim party is ruling the country according to Islamic law, which again generated heated controversy and accusations of islamophobia. On the same date, a cartoon of Houellebecq appeared on the cover page of Charlie Hebdo with the caption "The Predictions of Wizard Houellebecq," eerily ironic in retrospect.[11] For the second time, his fictional work appeared as prescient of real events involving islamic terrorism. A friend of his, Bernard Maris, was killed in that shooting. In an interview with Antoine de Caunes after the shooting, Houellebecq stated he was unwell and had cancelled the promotional tour for Submission.[12]

Not OP and not familiar with this Houellebecq reference, but Ive read him and agree with this quote.

My thoughts:

Marrying young (say 18-22) is marrying someone who shares the last episodes of childhood with you. It will be impossible to replace one who is "the first" and who "was there when..." and "knew me before...."

Such a couple is bound to feel fated together, rather than a mere choice that can be revoked, or a selection that can be replaced.

That, and also love is for beautiful young people.

Marrying young is associated with higher divorce rates. Best time to get married is late 20s, early 30s. Before or after that is not ideal.
