Is Cartesian dualism: mind-matter outdated?

obviously

Might find more under the heading
"Holographic universe"
Or
"Reality is a simulation"

substance dualism; yes, kinda. dualism in general; no

Why? Materialism seems to have many issues - personally I find the arguments for the existence of qualia quite convincing.
And if you look at many of the positions of those who advocate the idea that AI can really be intelligent, many of them unintentionally take a dualist position.

i would like to have mind having control over affects, and behave only through pure reason, unaffected by emotions, but most of people think that we are sum of affects and we cant deffend ourselves

Can you elaborate some of the positions taken?

No, unless you are a simpleton who is interpreting mind as brain. In that case, yes, it is quite outdated.

duh

Descartes never even properly defined his dualism. He avoided it by saying "mind and body probably have something to do with each other but idk tho"

Please don't read philosophy books. Stay reading shampoo labels. They don't need interpretation.

It is not a simulation since there is nothing being simulated. This screen is not a shadow of a perfect screen, nor is it an expression of the Logos or aggregate of matter. No ur-screen precedes it, nor will it transcend to an eschatoscreen. Such is the whole world, a cretinous tapestry of delirium, a nightmare to wake up from.

he wrote about "pineal gland" which is home of soul and is reacting to affects in various ways regarding of current position or smthg

He was obviously right in saying that there are mind stuffs different from mechanistic non-experiential stuffs. But framing this as a dualistic opposition was a grave mistake that has lead to many misguided ideas.
There is but one substance, and it has both experiential and non-experiential properties.
