Jordan Peterson's clinical advice has a proven track record

On his more philosophical angle, the book just assumes you know about Maps of Meaning, which is his theory about the relationship between mythical archetypes and the way people perceive themselves. If you don't know about that, the book just seems like rambling and preaching

Tbh he should have just stuck to the hard advice

You can probably get the same value from just watching his lectures, and it takes a quarter of the time. If you want his philosophy of myths and archetypes, just read his other book.
