Yo /lit/, I need a book suggestion. I only read books every once in a while because it's like being lost in a sea with no map. That is to say, there's so much shit and I have no idea what I'm looking for.

Anyways, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VteHd2AoGvw

Now, after watching it, how does it make you feel? Recommend something that gives you similar vibes.

Looks as if Murakami had made a video game.

Maybe "A wild Sheep Chase" by Murakami, I can't think of another author fitting that, except Lovecraft if you are more into classic, even though he only fits slightly.

Just looked this up. Sounds pretty awesome, will be sure to get it.

And just to broaden things, I'm basically looking for something set in modern day, psychological shit. Something that makes you go "Damn, that's smooth."

Ya get me?

This Murakami guy sounds like a baller. Maybe I should just get all his books. Doesn't sound like a bad idea.

And hell yeah. SMT is my favorite video game series, and Catherine looks awesome so far.
