How much do you faggots read ?

How many pages/hours a day?

How many hours/books per week/month ?

>> No.10571724

>read Fahreinheit 451 in one day
>read Lolita in a month

Honestly, it depends on the book and my interest. Easy reads like 451 I can finish quickly, but Lolita makes me stop and think too fucking much.

I usual read a bunch, I've got a job with a lot of downtime. So atleast I'll get an 1-1.5 hours, sometimes 3 or 4. Against The Day just took a week and half to read, but i also just read Silence and Animal Farm in a day each.

It depends. I read through Infinite Jest in a couple of weeks (I had a summer internship that was pretty slow, got a few hours of reading in during that, +2 hours on commute each way, basically forced me to read 4 hours a day minimum), reading Proust now and it's taking forever. 15 pages = 1 hour. It's incredible, don't get me wrong, it's just difficult to get through at times.

When Im engrossed I can do about 3-400 a day, or 12 hours, depends on the book. A good week for me is a 400 page novel and watching 4 movies.

As someone who reads that much, how knowledgable are you?

I feel like if I read that much I'd be two steps away from being an encyclopedia. I also feel like that much reading would allow someone to flourish in talent.
