Looking to get started on some good non fiction books, just finished a biography book on a musician, enjoyed it but it did feel kinda boring after a while.

It's hard to recommend anything without knowing a little more about you.

What are your interests? How old are you? What have you read recently and liked?

If you want a fun, readable biography, you could try

SURELY YOU'RE JOKING, MR FEYNMAN
by Richard Feynman

If you want an interesting modern "general book about the world", you could try:

Gladwell, TIPPING POINT
Kahneman,THINKING FAST AND SLOW
Taleb, ANTIFRAGILE

If you like biography and you want to try something a little less modern, try Plutarch's Lives - biographies of famous Greeks and Romans but in quite a light style with lots of anecdotes.

I can't really narrow that down right now, I'll just say my interests are pretty broad.

Can you sell me on kahneman, I'm skeptical about cognitive bias

Taleb is the biggest piece of shit, why on earth would you recommend him.
