If earth is so insignificant in the grand scheme of things, why are all the dark and ancient gods located here?

Who says this is all of them, hmm?

People are insignificant, not earth

I think it's like earth is not significant, but humans are insignificant.

why is earth significant?

>>10471144
it's not, but it's an astounding number of them

why would it be significant? it's just a planet.

>it's not, but it's an astounding number of them
You can only believe it's "an astounding number of them" if you also believe you have knowledge of all of them in the universe, which you don't.
e.g. Let's say there are a thousand of them on Earth. That might seem like a lot, but if there are ten quadrillion of them in the observable universe then that would make Earth completely average and unremarkable given the estimated ten trillion planetary systems in said observable universe.

they're hiding out. "nobody would ever think of looking for us here."

unfortunately, they all thought that.

I read the cthulhu mythos a long time ago, but wasn't the cthulhu race all over the universe? Weren't they also capable of traveling through outer space without any gear?

Maybe it isn't inherently significant, but only significant due to the ancient gods coming here

What the hell does a human know about an astounding number?
