Not OP, but I'd give it a positive recommendation. I don't think it quite justified its length, and some of the humor was a little repetitive, but if it fails in any places it only ever seemed for trying too hard/lack of editing, and I found it easy enough to forgive the ambition. At its best, its depictions of an Uncle Sam avatar were hysterical, and dweeby Nixon got some chuckles as well. Many of the gags and general sense of humor reminded me of Gravity's Rainbow.

Also thinking back tor reading it (it was a little bit ago) the sustained sense of outrage reminded me of Grapes of Wrath. So take that for what it's worth too I guess.
