can anyone explain the fundamental difference of Spinoza and Leibniz, especially Leibniz to read his books

Spinoza: God as immanent, God is all
Leibniz: God as transcendental, God created all

Apparently Godel had a hard-on for Leibniz but their views on God don't seem to stray very far from the traditional Christian view, unlike Spinoza.

God as outside the universe vs. God as the universe.

Think of it in terms of computer MMOs. Are computer programmers part of the game they create, or do they exist transcendent (outside and beyond the rules/laws) of the game?
