You can force the rhythm by exaggerating it. This is how most people that don't read poetry often do it. Ask one of your friends that doesn't read a lot of poetry to read "shall I compare thee to a summers day" and you'll see what I mean.
It's even more pronounced when they are just starting to learn about meter.
