I'm reading criticism on Hamlet and Macbeth and the sheer magnitude of ideas to unpack in these plays is giving me a little bit of a head trip. Was Shakespeare just a fucking genius? For every idea that a normal writer would put into a scene, hes putting in 20 and developing on 50 previous ones. Was he /ourguy/? These plays are sublime in the romantic sense and it's really astounding.
