I find that after tackling something weighty it's often a good idea to 'wind down' with something that isn't especially challenging. The western is my 'go to' genre. Blood Meridian might be to your liking.

Anon means The History of the Peloponesian War. If youre an English speaker get the Landmark edition cheap on ABE. Like Anna, it's one of the 40 or so great tomes (a little more than half Anna's length) of Western lit. (You) won't be disappointed. Having read both I can affirm that anon's rec is solid.
