This thread is now about your favourite Borges short stories.

Everything I've read by him is great, but I really do love Funes, his Memory and Shakespeare's Memory. Death and a Compass is pretty damn good as well. Oh and The Immortal, Lottery of Babylon, oh and-

fuck off dick licker.

borges can be an utterly shit writer depending on what you're reading. he's always a brilliant idea-man though. labyrinths for example has a few that are too damn long-winded for sure. don't hate on me because i don't worship your hero you baby.

thank you. i do respect the man. and i do consider him to be one of the more interesting writers out there with what little i've been exposed to. the book of sand and shakespeare's memory is either the next book i'm reading or the one after.

for my spanish class we had to read borges. The entire class shit brix. It was really difficult to read something so complex in a language that isn't your first but ultimately more rewarding I thought. The man was genius!
