Yes. He can write. He can logic. He can pragmatize. His thoughts on the objectivity of early breakthroughs in psychology are a wee bit naive, but that can be easily excused. In general all of the American Pragmatists are worth reading.

No. I have this book. It's "okay." Most useful in conjunction with someone like Campbell or Graves, or Eliade. Read some Bernays instead, or the actual sacred texts and let them move you.
