I aim to reprogram my high school years, such a miserable time I believe they still cause me serious problems.
The book I’m thinking of is a wrasslin book, Vision Quest by Terry Davis,
Why wrasslin?
Because wrasslin teaches you that for every move, there is a counter-move.
I’m about to enter the portal and turn my life around.

I’m in the sweat lodge, I got time to answer.
Two people I loved, had overwhelming admiration for, died during the first few months of freshman year.
A movie came out about the topic. It was a masterpiece. I can’t watch it.
But I saw the movie poster recently and it brought back those feelings. I was alive. Such wonderful deep emotion. That movie poster was a portal.
It gradually lost its power.
I’m always looking for new portals.
Art can be a portal.
