Have any of you actually read a book before or are you all just pretending? I've never read a full bok in my life, only about 30 pages from a novel once is the limit for me. Anything more is too much. Books are so boring, and most of it is just filler. If you have read even a single book, or multiple, what is the best book you've ever read?

Bait? I'm serious. Have you ever read a book more than 30 pages, if so, was it good? What's the best one?

Also, Submission by Houellebecq is short, easy to read, contemporary, engaging and good.

If you have a problem reading 30 pages, I don't think you could handle Proust (Writer of the longest novel), Joyce (the writer of the most difficult novel), Milton (The best Poet), or really anybody on this list. Sorry.

Sorry friend, I'm from the land of Twain, Heinlein, and Burroughs (Missouri).

Submission is great. You should ad it to the top of your reading list.

I tried reading that and I just felt to uncultured to understand and relate to the main character. I feel like on paper on should but I'm just too big of a pleb.
