I read some of it a long time ago. It got bogged down in talking about soviet agriculture and how much Russia was producing under socialism before Stalin. I have no idea if any of it was true though. If I kept reading, I probably would have gotten to the good stuff about Stalin's takeover.

I've got it around, and plan to, it just seems like there are more important/interesting reads regarding Trotsky, once you get the gist of Revolution Betrayed through a certain biography (Deutscher's). Kind of deflating too, given the nastiness and failure that surrounded it, though I understand RB covers a lot of interesting ground.
