Remains of the Day is my favorite, though An Artist of the Floating World and The Unconsoled are up there too.

Years ago I was visiting Portland and was looking through Powell's, and they had a signed 1st US of Never Let Me Go in with their normal literature section for $10 or so, and I didn't buy it because I already had a copy and thought it was lesser Ishiguro (I still think that). I regret not buying it in hindsight.

Probably, but I have no intention of selling it. Ishiguro is my favorite contemporary novelist, and "The Unconsoled" is terrific (although it was "Remains of the Day" that literally made me revaluate and change my life).
