I want to get into Asimov's Foundation Series. What book do you recommend I start on? I hear he wrote a lot of it out of order, and 'Foundation' itself is the third book. Should I start with his first published work (I, Robot, I think) or Prelude to Foundation or what?

Cheers.

Start with Foundation, then read the rest of the trilogy.
If you really want more, read Foundation's Edge and Foundation and Earth.
If you want more after those, read the prequels.

the first book, foundation, is the only one worth reading

When people say the Foundation 'Trilogy', it always confuses me. Is the Trilogy: "Foundation", "Foundation and Empire" and then "Second Foundation", those being the order they're released in, or "Prelude to Foundation", "Forward the Foundation" and then "Foundation" - those being the chronological release order?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Cheers for the help, guys.
