There isn't any real evidence to support the existence of his proposed 'orgone' phenomenon. His psychological ideas are more reasonable (e.g. the concept of people developing neurotic behavioral 'body armor' which he sought to break people out of).

His "orgone" beliefs are flaky, but before his breakdown he was actually a pretty good psychologist - his "Mass Psychology of Fascism" is an intriguing read about how Hitler was able to "win" over the populace
