Hey guys. I brought up this series earlier, had a good laugh about it.
So, I was thinking about the title of this book. A little ambiguous, isn't it? It sounds like it was written by a Martian.
What will these two think up of next? They've got a whole list of these books, about a bajillion in the series - People of the -
Thunder
Silence
Owl
Eye
Mist
Wolf
Fire
River
Sea
Masks

Yeah, People of the Masks. I'm not even kidding. The list goes on.

bunch of "noble savage" liberal non-sense I imagine?

I haven't actually read any of the novels, but from what I understand from someone I (woefully) know who has, each one is preceded by a short bit of nonfiction explaining the setting of the natives in which the novel takes place. From what I gather they're just fantasy novels about native americans - magic, spells, a bit of sadism and sex. On one of the novels there's a bit of spam from the "Romance Times," praising the novels and writers. Plural, writers. Husband and wife team.
