This is misleading. IQ is highly heritable, and people who grew up rich tend to have parents with a higher-than-average IQ. And now that the SATs are taken seriously you have many more poor people with higher IQs receiving scholarships to good universities. So it's hard to disentangle education and economic background from the IQ factor.
