Um the fact that the place reeks of weed is a significant plus also indie store in my experience have always staffed hotter/younger girls.

>he doesn't own Diogenes' barrel, still scratched with his entire philosophical treatise and complete deconstruction of aristotle, plato, descartes (he was a time traveler, you'd know this if you had read his barrel, pleb), kant, wittgenstein, and all the rest of the schlocky frauds.

youll find more rare stuff at an indie shop tho. mostly tho you arent gonna find anything you probably want. i went to the one right outside or colonial williamsburg, next to the college. its in a basement and i had a fun time looking around, but pretentious girls were strutting around saying, "wow, what a cool place. its got so many old books." its literally just a landmark for the area, i dont see how they stay in business. i saw nobody buy anything the hour or so i was looking through the shelves. i bet most of their sales are from buying big old picture books for peoples coffee tables
