Harry Potter

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
A Moveable Feast

>Moderate Tier (Mostly straightforward reads that have more unique styles of presentation)

Slaughterhouse 5
Catch-22
The Stranger
Kafka On The Shore

>Challenging Tier (Books that are complex in terms of narrative and language, offering a challening read for experienced readers)

The Crying of Lot 49
The Brothers Karamazov
Moby-Dick

>Grandmaster Tier (In both scope and theme, these books are sprawling and intricate reads that require constant focus and critical interpretation. For seasoned readers only)
Ulysses
Gravity's Rainbow
Infinite Jest

I don't see why a chart like this would be a bad idea. There's plenty of people on /lit/ that want to read the more difficult books but have to work there way up to it. Not all of us have been reading for our entire lives. Its a learned skill, just like anything else. People would like to know they are going to enjoy what they spend money or bandwidth on. /fit/ has noobie gain guides, the drawing board has introductory materials, /tv/ has introductory suggestions. etc. Yet, /lit/ has a top 100 book list and a start with the greeks meme. I understand you want your super special media consumption to be superior, but really, it should be just as easy or welcoming to new people, except you call them a faggot and imply they have shit taste, but at least give them a chance and the resources to catch up.

If you're just getting into Christian reading, I would recommend Mere Christianity (it's the most entry level and it doesn't have bias towards any particular branch of Christianity).

The Everlasting Man, or any GK Chesterton is good to read after that. And once you know the basics of theology, I would highly recommend The Spirit of Mediaeval Philosophy.

Also, read City of God once you have a good understanding of the course of events in the Bible. City of God isn't actually that hard to read or understand.

Is there a short novels chart?
Books around 100~200 pages, easy to carry around in public transportation with a sigle hand are really useful.
Not short story collections, i never really feel committed to those desu.
