Meaning is the act of understanding something. Understanding can only exist in an agent, it doesn't make sense to say that understanding exists independent from a conscious being.

So you can't have meaning without an agent. So you cant have an ultimate meaning without an ultimate agent (i.e., a conscious god).

Unless you are god, you can't have ultimate meaning.
