Is Mein Kampf actually worth the read? My school had it in its library but I've never given a thought about reading it.

How come nobody translates the title?

It sounds more sinister in German, like every other cluster of words.

Only if it's a first edition in German. Everything else has been edited to hell and back.

No, but My Struggle is.

Unquestionably, there is nothing appearing as sinister as the front page of any German newspaper.

Are there no good translations to other languages?

Depends on if you're interested in the ideology. It's tough at first to get used to Hitler's style, but once it clicks it's a very interesting read.

The OPs one is a good translation.
Indian publisher Jaico or something if I recall.

As for the original question - It's a good read. I'm halfway through volume 2.
If it's a topic you are interested in and want the man's perspective you should read it.

"My Struggle" probably sounds too sympathetic.

I'm too scared to check out fascist literature at my school's library because I'm scared I'll be put on a list.

Do a tour of your local bookstores faggot, bring cash

Honestly you probably would be. It's not like the list would matter unless you did some actual illegal stuff but yeah. Unless you're a really weird 4chan user you probably are already on a lot of lists

Welp, I know I'm on plenty of lists due to my amazon purchases, which includes Mein Kampf.

If you don't know German try Mein Kampf the Stalag edition.

Actually, the recent critical edition published by the Institut für Zeitgeschichte is the superior choice, pic related is my proof of purchase. It's extensively annotated and covers just about everything you'd like to know, like for example editorial history. I've advertised it before and there's the occasional philistine/retard who objects to anything on Hitler written in German (most likely sour grapes), but I can tell you the editors/contributors to this edition don't shy away from giving Hitler credit where it's due. If you know German, this is the Kampf to get, and if you don't then maybe you should just skip it and find some of his speeches in English instead.
