So can we address the fact that you guys only talk about male authors?

There are hundreds and hundreds of intelligent, strong women who have written literary classics. I know you may think "lol the male authors are regarded classics for a reason" but no. Just no. The reason women aren't on the list is systemic.

inb4 >hurr le feminazi

Feminism is the belief that men and women are equal. If you don't agree with that you are literally worthless and should be put in a camp or something.

I'm glad people don't discuss female authors much here, because the influx of /pol/fags would mean that any time we wished to discuss them in the future, they would be shitposted into oblivion.

Don't exaggerate. Don't.
The reason there are barely any women authors before the 20th century is because women were denied education up till then, so when they wrote, they mostly wrote shit.
20th century onwards the moral situation degraded to the point where you need to be the recluse of recluses to write well, which happens mostly to men due to our innate tendency to autism.

the problem is that most feminists overexaggerate the hardships women's face, so their definition of "equal" is different than that of a rational man's mind.

I tried reading that Agatha Christie book and legit didn't like it because she was talking like a woman. I also don't like a lot of old romance classics. However, I really love Flannery Oconnor and a lot of books from school including Frankenstein, The Giver, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Outsiders, and Harry Potter as a kid, so I think women can be great writers.

Different beings cannot be ontologically or existentially equal. The belief in 'equality' reduces the person to something terribly simple.
