I think as a non-American it was important for him to stand against Clinton. We don't really have a "left" in the sense that most european political scenes do. Calling his entire philosophy incoherent or shallow is kind of ridiculous. Have you read any of his books? He admits himself that his talks are mostly entertainment and a lot of rambling. I do agree about him repeating himself a lot but I think his core points are good ones.
